Tuition Waiver Program for Faculty and Staff
The Board of Governors provides regulations whereby statutorily described faculty and staff within the University of North Carolina may each take not more than two courses per academic year tuition-free and authorizes that each campus policy specify under what circumstances, if any, fees may be waived.
Academic Assistance for SPA Employees
This workforce planning and employee development program allows an SPA employee to take a course at an accredited community college, college or university and provides reimbursement of academic costs, if funds are available, and time off the job, if the course is available only during working hours.
