AsULead Middle School Program (GEAR UP NC Campus-based Enrichment for 7th graders) at Appalachian State University is a two and a half day (April 26-28, 2013) residential leadership development program for two 7th grade students at each GEAR UP target middle school. During the program, students will discover and develop their leadership potential, stay at Camp Broadstone, use technology to collaborate with other students on a project, and start thinking about how to lead a GEAR UP Ambassador group in their school community.
