NC A&T: Celebrating the 50th Sit-In Anniversary : A Spiritual Thanksgiving

On February 1, 1960, four freshmen students from North Carolina A&T State University sat down at the segregated downtown Woolworth's lunch counter in Greensboro, N.C., and refused to leave until they were served. Their non-violent action sparked the nationwide sit-in movement and garnered national attention.  Join North Carolina A&T State University in Celebrating the 50th Sit-In Anniversary on January 29 – February 1, 2010. Activities include a luncheon, historical play, breakfast, commemorative march and much more.
