University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) School of Dance alumnae Gillian Murphy and Sarah Murphy (no relation) have won 2009 Princess Grace Awards Gillian Murphy, who graduated from the UNCSA School of Dance (high school) in ballet in 1996, received the prestigious Princess Grace Statue Award. Sarah Murphy, who graduated from the UNCSA School of Dance (high school) in contemporary dance in 2006, received a dance scholarship.
