A national scholarship dedicated to advancing the research and the careers of young physician-scientists has been awarded to Dr. Suzanne Lazorick, an assistant professor of pediatrics and public health at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. She is one of 15 professionals selected to join the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Physician Faculty Scholars Program, which produces creative academic leaders well-positioned to make a difference in the nation's health services.
