Duplin County, N.C. has been chosen as one of two locations to begin enrolling participants in the largest ever long-term study of children's health and development in the United States. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Carolina Population Center will oversee the study. The National Children's Study is funded by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, one of the National Institutes of Health.
