When Linda Parrish Brady was installed as UNCG's 10th chancellor, she outlined a vision for UNCG to redefine the role of the public research university for the 21st century as an inclusive, collaborative and responsive institution that meets the needs of students and communities. "I am honored and humbled to have your confidence in my ability to serve as chancellor for The University of North Carolina at Greensboro," Brady said to UNC President Erskine Bowles, who officiated. "I thank you for this opportunity to come back to North Carolina and especially for the privilege of leading this outstanding university."
