The scope of work will consist of the installation of 225 LF of new underground chilled water supply and chilled water return piping from the main trunk lines near the brickyard into the Scott Hall mechanical room, the removal of the existing water cooled chiller from the Scott Hall mechanical room, the removal of the existing cooling tower located on the roof of Scott Hall, connection of the existing building chilled water system to the central campus chilled water system, and associated electrical work. The following general contractors have been pre-qualified to bid the project: DS Simmons, J. Wayne Poole, Mid-Atlantic Infrastructure Systems, Pipeline Utilities, Progressive Construction Company, and Quate Industrial Services. Drawings can be purchased from the designer, Dewberry, for $100 on or after November 20, 2012.
