A Resolution in Honor of Margaret Torbert

WHEREAS, You helped with the creation of rosters of the Faculty Assembly; and

WHEREAS, You collected and kept data for the Faculty Assembly; and

WHEREAS, You checked and rechecked many of the minutes of the Faculty Assembly and its Executive Committee; and

WHEREAS, You participated in the writing of many agendas, and

WHEREAS, You sent out thousands of mailings for the Faculty Assembly, often under considerable time pressure; and

WHEREAS, You typed and retyped resolutions into the evening; and

WHEREAS, You gave unstintingly of your time and efforts on every occasion the Faculty Assembly asked,

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the members of the Faculty Assembly of the University of North Carolina present you with this resolution as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.
