Whereas Keith Howell has served six years as a delegate from UNCG to the Faculty Assembly;

Whereas, he has provided leadership and energy as an exemplary representative of the interests of the university;

Whereas, he chaired the Faculty Assembly with distinction for two years;

Whereas, he has been a prominent and articulate voice for the interests of UNC faculty generally;

Whereas, he has also served as the faculty's model as a connoisseur of food and wine;

Whereas, his second term as a delegate from UNCG is now coming to and end; now, therefore, be it resolved:

That the Faculty Assembly recognize and thank our colleague, Keith Howell, for his dedication and leadership on behalf of all faculty of the University of North Carolina.
