Whereas, universities should be exemplary employers, and 

Whereas, a substantial proportion of university instructional employees are fixed term contract, non-tenure track employees, and

Whereas, the Committee on Non-Tenure Track Faculty has provided rational and humane recommendations for UNC-system universities to adopt with respect to employment of NTT employees, therefore be it resolved:

That the UNC Faculty Assembly endorses these recommendations and encourages their implementation by the campuses in cooperation with the Office of the President.
