Whereas, Jose D'Arruda has served six years as a delegate from UNC Pembroke to the Faculty Assembly, and

Whereas, he has served on and Chaired the Technology Committee for most of those years, leading to the successful effort to move it to a Standing Committee of the Assembly; and

Whereas, he has spent countless hours working with the TLT Collaborative to present for the faculty of all sixteen institutions two sucessful UNC Teaching and Learning with Technology Conferences, planning the program, soliciting and reviewing proposals, and promoting participation; Now, Therefore, Be It

Resolved, that the Faculty Assembly recognize and thank its colleague for his valuable service to the faculty of the University of North Carolina.
