Whereas Beryl McEwen has served six years as a delegate from North Carolina A&T State University to the UNC Faculty Assembly; and

Whereas, she has served as an exemplary representative of the interests of the university; and

Whereas, she chaired the Faculty Development Committee with distinction for one year; and

Whereas, she has also provided leadership as the Assembly's Secretary for one year; and

Whereas, her second term as a delegate from North Carolina A&T State University is now ending; therefore, be it

Resolved, that the North Carolina A&T State University delegates and the North Carolina A&T State University Faculty Senate and the delegates of the UNC Faculty Assembly recognize and express our profound thanks to our colleague, Beryl McEwen, for her dedication and outstanding service on behalf of all faculty of the University of North Carolina.
