<p>RESOLUTION REGARDING BOARD OF GOVERNORS' 1996-97 BUDGET REQUEST</p>
<p>WHEREAS, Substantial and important proposals included in the <u>1995-97 Budget Request of the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina</u> were not funded by the Regular Session of the 1995 General Assembly; and</p>
<p>WHEREAS, The Board of Governors has recently made a comprehensive review of its 1995-97 biennial request and the actions taken, and has identified a limited number of requests for priority consideration by the General Assembly during the upcoming Legislative Session; and</p>
<p>WHEREAS, The Board of Governors has included several additional requests and modifications to the original <u>1995-97 Budget Request</u>; therefore be it</p>
<p>RESOLVED, That the Faculty Assembly of the University of North Carolina urge the North Carolina General Assembly to enact the Board of Governors' Legislative Priorities for the 1996 Reconvened Session.</p>
