Under the revised academic planning process approved by the Board of Governors, a disciplinary panel will be convened to review each new degree authorization request and offer a statewide perspective on what is needed in that disciplinary area. Each UNC constituent institution will be invited to identify a faculty representative for the panels as they are formed. The program proposals to be reviewed and other relevant information will be posted on this site for access by the panel members and others who are interested.
