The Cooperative Library Lending Agreement adopted by ULAC June 10, 1988 and amended June 6, 1997 provides one aspect of a policy of broad sharing of the constituent institutions' library resources.  It was revised and approved in 2001-03, and final approval was forthcoming from ULAC May 23, 2003.

Working Together for Excellence, adopted by ULAC on June 14, 1996, is a vision for the libraries of the UNC system.
