The North Carolina Community College System provides education and training for the workforce, support for economic development, and services to communities and individuals. The Virtual Learning Community, a collaborative effort of all 58 community colleges, pools resources and expertise to expand access to online courses and support services. UNC collaborates with the community college system on a range of initiatives involving teaching and learning with technology.
