UNC's IT Strategy touches nearly every facet of campus life for UNC students, faculty and staff, and its guidance provides a trusted roadmap for the Division of Information Resources. Development of a Prospective Student Portal and Web Enabling Student Services are flagship initiatives to streamline the enrollment process and improve administrative efficiency. But the University also embraces its responsibility to share IT resources and expertise with other North Carolina agencies, government entities and institutions. Through partnerships and memberships, UNC is helping the state keep pace with advancements in information technology. All the collaborations enable UNC to leverage the best that IT has to offer and stimulate even greater academic effectiveness, administrative efficiency and instructional innovation, both inside and outside the walls of the 16 constituent campuses.
