The Alliance workgroup was charged with developing a structure for promoting shared administrative systems among participating campuses. The workgroup subsequently expanded the proposed role of the Alliance to serve as a forum for exploring potential technology collaborations beyond administrative systems, resulting in the recommendation to establish a "Shared Services Alliance."
