| | Prequalifying for | | Danis Construction Company, LLC is seeking to pre-qualify
principal trade and specialty contractors to submit bids for
the furnishing of labor, material and equipment for the
Reynolds Coliseum Renovation at NCSU. The purpose of this
request is for mandatory pre-qualification only,not bidding.
Once successfully pre-qualified, contractors will be added
to the official bid list for the project. Danis has been
selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for this
project and will receive bids from and contract with
principal and specialty contractors for the execution of the
work. Reynolds Coliseum Renovation is a 182,000 SF
renovation project located on the Main Campus of North
Carolina State University at 2411 Dunn Ave in Raleigh, North
Carolina. The project consists of the demolition of
approximately 40% of the interior seating structure,
construction of two story steel framed infill, two new
elevators, new HVAC system throughout, replacement of all
windows and exterior entrance doors, new restrooms, offices,
concessions, installation of complete fire protection
system, site work including sidewalks, asphalt work and
brick pavers. This project has an anticipated start date of
late March, 2015 and a completion date of July, 2016.
Historically Underutilized Businesses are encouraged to
participate; however, the firm must be certified by the
Office for Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB
Office) through the Statewide Uniform Certification (SWUC)

The anticipated bidding period is February, 2015. Criteria
such as financial ability, safety record, past experience,
references etc. will be considered during the
prequalification process. Prequalification applications
will be accepted up to 10 days prior to the bid date.
Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit prequalification
forms as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for
review and approval. The CM and Owner reserve the right to
reject any and all pre-qualifications. Contracting method
will be through competitive public bid in accordance with
Chapter 143 of the NC General Statues. For
