| Prequalifying for | | The project is reconstruction in place of 2400 LF of a
four-lane roadway, approximately 44 feet from face curb to
face curb. Scope of work includes demolition; storm drain
installation; erosion and sediment control; subgrade rehab
and stabilization; concrete curb & gutter and concrete
sidewalk installation; pavement construction; traffic
control. To qualify, the contractor must have a GC license
in the State of North Carolina as well as meet applicable
requirements for performance and payment bonding. The
contractor must show comparable work experience, both in
complexity and dollar value, and preferably in a University
campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above. To
be considered, the contractor must obtain an application
package from the University of North Carolina engineering
consultant and submit electronically sealed, fully completed
qualification document by 3:00 pm, December 5, 2014, to Mike
