| Prequalifying for | Appalachian State University is seeking qualification
statements from interested parties regarding construction of
a field hockey playing surface on the ASU campus. Single
prime contractors must be an ASBA certified field builder
(CFB or CFB-S). The project scope includes removal of
existing natural grass field, installation of new water
cannon irrigation system with pump and storage tank,
construction of turf sub-base, installation of sports
lighting, installation of artificial turf playing field,
fencing, and site drainage improvements. Pre-qualified
firms must provide proof of North Carolina contractor's
license and the appropriate grading and other required
limitations and classifications. The estimated construction
cost is approximately $1,300,000. | |||
