Project Description | One-Two Sentences This is Phase 1 of a multiphase project.
East Carolina University (ECU) is requesting proposals from
experienced Engineering consulting firms with Mapping &
Geographic Information System (GIS) capabilities to conduct
and implement a comprehensive Mapping and Geographic
Information System program.
This project will include locating and surveying utility
systems on University property including electrical, steam,
gas, fiber, telephone, water, sewer, and storm water. Some
of these services are provided from the Greenville Utilities
Commission and typically include primary and some medium
voltage electrical services, domestic water, sanitary sewer
and natural gas.
The completed survey will provide ECU with the location,
condition, and size/capacity of the utilities as required.
The successful engineering firm will provide these services
and deliver the information in both hard copy and via web
resident ArcGIS database formats. This information shall be
provided such that it is integrated with Assetworks AIM CMMS
and CPPM software currently used by the University.
