Project Description
One-Two Sentences
A pre-proposal meeting will be held on January 22, 2015 at
10:00 am at the Hinton James Residence Hall 515 Hinton James
Dr, Chapel Hill.
This project will modernize two elevators in Ehringhaus
Residence Hall, two elevators in Carmichael Residence Hall
and three elevators in Hinton James residence Hall. The
elevators currently employ analog mechanical relay control
systems for which replacement parts are increasingly hard to
find. Modernizing the elevators will install new control
systems and will bring them up to current standards.
