Project Description | One-Two Sentences This project will include repairs to both the existing
soccer stadium facility and soccer field. The University
anticipates a design team which includes a firm experienced
with waterproofing, sealant repairs, roofing replacement,
concrete repairs, etc. teamed with a firm with expertise in
natural turf sports field construction and repairs at the
intercollegiate or professional sports level.
Stadium repairs will include replacement of all expansion
joints, exposed stadium sealants, press box roofing,
replacement of seat anchors and holes, guardrail repair,
miscellaneous repairs to concessions, bathrooms, HVAC and
other areas of the stadium. The stadium is a pre-cast
concrete structure constructed in the early 1990's.
Soccer field repairs will revamp the playing surfaces,
including the drainage and turf. Work will include surface
striping the field, reconditioning of the soil base,
sprigging or sodding the entire field, drainage and
irrigation systems reconditioned or replaced, and the
installation of a new water reclamation system will be
investigated.
Responses should be no more than 30 sheets of paper (double
sided), excluding SF 330 form. Current funding authorization
is for advance planning only. Submit two (2) copies of the
response in the following format: Tab 1: Completed
Information Sheet; Tab 2: Letter of Interest (Cover Letter);
Tab 3: Project Team Organization Chart (Identify members and
work scope); Tab 4: Similar Project Experience (primary
designer and consultants); Tab 5: Energy Conservation/LEED
Experience (primary designer and consultants); Tab 6:
Minority Business Participation Plan; Tab 7: Current SF 330.
