Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina is seeking qualification packages from an Architectural firm to provide design and construction services for Life Safety Improvements (NFPA-13 fire protection and alarm system), sound attenuation improvements in various classrooms, and the conversion of open space into offices and classrooms for Anne Belk Hall. The designer shall provide professional services for the project in accordance with the terms and conditions of the design agreement and the latest edition of the document titled North Carolina State Construction Manual, which by reference is made a part of the agreement.

To be considered, a NC licensed Architect must submit a qualification package to the Planning, Design and Construction Office, Appalachian State University, 438 Academy Street, Boone, NC 28608-2050; Attn: Jeff Pierce (828) 262-6579 by 3 PM Thursday, 28 March, 2013. Shortlist candidates will be notified by 05 April 2013. Interviews will be conducted on 15 April 2013.
In order to offer architectural or engineering services in response to this solicitation, the proposer must be licensed in the State of North Carolina.
