Opportunities to Do Business with the Universities

Architectural and Engineering design services for the renovation of Reynolds Coliseum, built in 1949. The project scope includes a new Athletics Walk of Fame exhibit and additional office space within the northern third of the existing building. The project also includes structural modifications, asbestos abatement and code compliance upgrades, including deficiencies in exit signs, exit lighting, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems, plus an assessment of deferred maintenance work throughout the 200,000 GSF facility. Further study during the Advance Planning phase must align a prioritized project scope with the project budget. Current project authority is for advance planning only. The selected firm may be retained through full design and construction at the University's option. A Pre-submittal Meeting will be held February 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Room 301, Administrative Services III (2701 Sullivan Drive, Raleigh, NC 27695) on the NC State campus. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory.
