The scope of work will consist of the installation of approximately 1800 LF of new underground chilled water supply and chilled water return piping from a connection at the Cates Utility Plant, continuing down Cates Avenue to a connection in Cates Avenue near the Talley Student Center, and also branching off to a second connection at valves located between Owen Hall and Turlington Hall. The scope will also consist of associated valves and fittings for the chilled water lines. The following general contractors have been pre-qualified: DH Griffin Gaines and Company J. An Owner's Preferred Products meeting will be conducted at 2:30 PM on February 5, 2013 in the same location as the bid opening identified above. This meeting is prior to the pre-bid meeting. The preferred product is the Honeywell Iconics Control System which is currently installed at the University utility plants. Drawings can be ordered from the designer for a deposit of $100.
