A Mandatory prebid conference and a HUB Outreach are to be held on 3/21 at 1:30 pm in Room 214A/B at Davis Library, 208 Raleigh Street, on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The meeting is also to identify construction and preferred brand alternates and their performance standards that the owner will consider for approval on this project. In accordance with GS133-3 and SCO procedures the following preferred brand items are being considered as Alternates by the owner for this project: Preferred Brand Alternates G-1: University standard door hardware, E-1: Transfer Switches - Emerson/ASCO 4000 Series, E-2: Fire Alarm system - Notifier, M-1: HVAC Controls - Schneider Controls. The state reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
