Overview of the Graduate Council
The UNC Graduate Council is composed of the Graduate Deans and at least one faculty representative from each of the constituent universities. The primary function of the Graduate Council is to review and make recommendations regarding proposals to establish new doctoral and first professional degree programs. The Graduate Council also addresses University-wide issues of graduate education.
